Overview
The Challenge
Travel planning often means jumping between search engines, booking platforms, maps, blogs, weather apps, and social media. This creates a fragmented experience where travelers spend more time researching than actually planning their journey.
Travel Hug needed a digital experience that could simplify this complexity while making AI-powered travel planning feel natural, trustworthy, and easy to use.
The challenge was not simply to design an attractive interface it was to create an experience that could organize a large amount of travel information into a journey that feels clear, personalized, and effortless.
Our Approach
We approached Travel Hug as a complete digital product rather than a collection of individual screens.
Our work focused on creating a consistent experience across the web platform and mobile application, while establishing a visual identity that could support the product as it grows.
We worked across:
- Brand Identity & Logo Design
- Web UI/UX Design
- Mobile App UI/UX Design
- User Journey & Information Architecture
- AI-powered Travel Planning Experience
- Dashboard & Travel Planning Interfaces
- Responsive Design System
- Design System & Component Structure
- Interactive Prototyping
Designing the AI Travel Experience
One of the most important aspects of Travel Hug was making a complex AI-powered system feel simple for everyday travelers.
The experience was structured around the way people naturally plan a trip starting with a destination and gradually answering questions around when to go, how much to spend, where to stay, what to see, where to eat, and what to do.
The interface brings these different layers of information together so travelers can move from inspiration → research → planning → decision-making without feeling overwhelmed.
Web & Mobile Experience
We designed both the web platform and mobile application with a shared visual language and scalable design system.
The web experience provides a broader environment for discovering destinations, exploring detailed information, and building comprehensive travel plans. The mobile experience focuses on accessibility, quick decisions, and keeping important travel information within reach while users are on the move.
Across both platforms, our goal was to maintain the same sense of simplicity, clarity, and personality.
Brand & Visual Language
Our involvement began beyond the interface.
We also developed the Travel Hug logo and brand direction, creating a visual identity that reflects the platform's core idea bringing people closer to better travel experiences.
The branding was then carried consistently into the digital product, creating a connection between the identity, interface, content, and overall user experience.
The Result
Travel Hug evolved into a unified AI-powered travel ecosystem where travelers can discover destinations, understand local information, explore possibilities, and create personalized travel plans from a single experience.
By bringing branding, UX strategy, UI design, and product thinking together, we helped create a digital experience that is not only visually engaging but also structured around a clear purpose:
Make travel planning smarter, simpler, and more human.
